Project "Museum ensemble "Peyo Kracholov Yavorov" Videos
Project “Museum ensemble “Peyo Kracholov Yavorov” is funded by Operational Programme “Regional Development”2007-2013, co-funded by European Union via European fund for regional development.
At 23 November 2011 mayor of Municipality of Chirpan signed a contract for grant financial assistance from Regional Development”2007-2013 and started implementation of a project with ref. № BG161PO001/3.1-03/2010/029 “Museum ensemble “Peyo Kracholov Yavorov”.
The project costs 1 370 040,69 BGN and will be implemented from November 2011 till November 2013.
Project main object is development of tourist attraction “Museum ensemble “Peyo Kracholov Yavorov” for attaining competitive and sustainable cultural-cognitive tourism in Chirpan.
Project activities:
- Main attraction
Repair and restoration of House-museum “P.K.Yavorov”
- Tourist infrastructure
Construction and installation repair of the exhibition hall, the library and the archive of the museum
Building of a small info center
Small measure infrastructure
Construction and installation activities in the House-museum “P.K.Yavorov” area – planting, park lighting and alleys, and developing disabled environment;
- Open stage building– small amphitheater with special sound system and scene lighting. Some of the house-museum events would take place on the new stage instead in the small yard.
- Equipment delivery for the purposes of the project.
The exhibition hall in the building next to the House-museum “P.K.Yavorov” is very essential for development of a complete and specific tourist product because it shows the big archive collection, it also introduces the poet life and work; the exhibition hall is used for lectures and events and provides modern equipment for information and interpretation. That’s why project activities plans to provide special equipment (show windows) for museum collection exhibiting, a simultaneous translation system for multilingual tourist lectures.

- Marketing, advertising and interpretation of the tourist attraction.
Development of dynamic attractive web site of House-museum “P.K.Yavorov”, preparation and publishing of a book “Yavorov guide” with all the places where the poet had worked at; Publishing of bulletin “Yavorov sheet” with the events from the House-museum “P.K.Yavorov” and Municipality of Chirpan cultural calendar.

- Guide training of 3 employees for the House-museum “P.K.Yavorov” purposes.
